What is MCAS?
MCAS is a program designed to certify a person in certain areas such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Windows Vista. It officially shows that the person has experience with these programs and has passed the certification test.
Benefits - For Employee
Certain benefits that MCAS holds for employees is learning how to use the programs more efficiently and recieving a document that says they are specialists in that area. This is good for employees that want to be a step ahead of the competition, as they will be highly respected by their bosses, and if anything goes wrong in the office, their co-workers know that they can count on them to fix the problem.
Benefits - For employer
Certain benefits that MCAS holds for employers is knowledge of having reliable employees. It also adds more to their knowledge of the Microsoft programs. Also, if the programs are new to the employees, the employers can also teach the employees on how to use the programs and such.
What's in it for me?
MCAS can give me the knowledge that people at a professional level use. Also, I can recieve the certificate earlier than most people recieve it, that gives me more "kudos" than an average employee that doesn't have a MCAS. Also, it gives me a higher chance of getting to work with more than just the average workplace.
